GUWAHATI, Dec 22: BJP leader and former Assam minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Tuesday said he has filed a Rs.100 crore civil defamation suit against Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi for alleging his involvement in scams. At a press conference here, Sarma said he will also file a crimil defamation suit against Gogoi. “Gogoi has been making baseless and untrue allegations against me for the past few days. He said I am involved in the Saradha scam and in the Louis Berger bribery scam. Gogoi also recently told the media that there are crimil cases pending against me,” he said.(IANS)
