Guwahati: Assam witnessed zero Covid-19 positive cases for two consecutive days – Thursday and Friday – since May 12, 2020. As many as 1,456 people had their Covid tests today. All of them were Covid negative. 1,713 tests were conducted on Thursday. None of them tested positive. The Covid death is nil on both days.
Health Minister Keshab Mahanta greeted doctors, nurses and all other health workers for their relentless efforts to beat the virus.
