GUWAHATI, Aug 23: As anticipated, the AICC today appointed Ripun Bora as president of Assam Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC). Congress president Sonia Gandhi has appointed the Rajya Sabha member, currently serving as in-charge president of Assam Congress, as its president. Bora’s appointment was announced in New Delhi today. He had earlier served as the vice-president of APCC.
