Taleb Ali is a resident of Dimatola Poyestirchar village, Fakirganj in Dhubri district of Assam. He is the son of Late Maner Uddin. Taleb is 54 years old.

He is contesting the 2021 Assam Assembly Election from Salmara South constituency on a Janata Dal United (JD-U) ticket.
