NUMALIGARH: As preparations for Rongali Bihu are in full swing across Assam, the ‘Jetuka Jeng Bihu Group’ from Numaligarh is also ready to welcome the festival with enthusiasm and tradition. Amidst the hustle and bustle of modern life, this group has chosen a nostalgic and refreshing approach to celebrate the beloved festival.

Women from nearby villages are coming together, dancing with grace and energy, echoing the rhythms of Bihu songs. The vibrant environment, filled with the sounds of traditional music and joyous laughter, is a visual treat for onlookers.

Speaking on behalf of the group, Minakshi Tamuli shared that, just like every year, they are all set to embrace Bihu with love and devotion. She also mentioned that the group is preparing not only for traditional sutal (courtyard) performances but also for stage events and competitions.
