Assam: ONGC Funds Seven Toilets for Gargaon College, Promotes Cleanliness and Hygiene

SIVASAGAR: General Manager of Public Relations Department, ONGC, Assam Asset, Nazira Durgesh Bhatia inaugurated seven toilets (four for men and three for women) funded by ONGC, Assam Asset, Nazira, in collaboration with Srimanta Sankardev Sangha, Nazira Unit and NGO Saved at Gargaon College today. Bhatia expressed that ONGC, Assam Asset will look forward to more such future collaborations with Gargaon College as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility.

The event was attended and presided by Principal of Gargaon College Dr Sabyasachi Mahanta in the presence of other dignitaries like Vice-Principal Diganta Konwar, Central Executive member of Srimanta Sankardev Sangha Jatin Lahon, President of Srimanta Sankardev Sangha, Nazira Unit Dhurva Jyoti Khanikar, office-bearers of Srimanta Sankardev Sangha, Nazira Unit Arun Gogoi and Promod Tamuli, Coordinators of NGO, Saved Devajyoti Gogoi and Shakil Ahmed, and other faculty members and students of the college. Dr Mahanta, in his speech, expressed his gratitude to ONGC, Nazira and all other stakeholders for this donation to Gargaon College.
