JAMUGURIHAT: Assam Rifles organized a cancer counselling session for youth at Burhagaon High School, Lokra on Wednesday. The event was aimed to raise awareness about cancer prevention, early detection, and the importance of a healthy lifestyle. A total of 71 civilians including 15 boys, 54 girls and 2 teachers, and 8 personnel from the Assam Rifles attended the session. The session provided valuable insights into cancer risks, myths, and coping strategies, encouraging students to adopt proactive health measures. The interactive session concluded with question and answers fostering an open dialogue to address community concerns and promote a supportive community.
