Assam: Rural Self-Employment Training Institute conducts training for women in Darrang

District Commissioner Parag Kumar Kakaty encouraged entrepreneurial success at RSETI Darrang's 30-day tailoring training for 33 participants.

MANGALDAI:  “You are to be integrated with a task to achieve your desired success. There is a need for skilled personnel in every field,” said District Commissioner of Darrang Parag Kumar Kakaty while taking part in the closing ceremony of the 30-day duration ‘Women’s Tailor training at free of cost at the Rural Self-Employment Training Institute (RSETI) Darrang No. 1, Bezpara near here. The District Commissioner taking part in the function as the chief guest, congratulated the trainees and offered them useful advice for the future or new -entrepreneurial future. District Lead Bank Officer Kishore Ram and Assistant Manager, UCO Bank Mangaldai Branch Bikram Singh briefed the trainees on the technical aspects of bank loans and also explained the role of RSETI in the field of self-employment.

The event moderated by RSETI Senior Instructor Kishore Kumar Sharma was attended by Sujit Kumar and other employees of RSETI. 33 women and young men and women from different parts of the district participated in the training and received certificates of training. The one-month training programme was conducted by Domain Skill Trainer Bandana Saharia as an expert in “Women’s Sewing” and the programme began with the administering of oath on the occasion of the 75th Constitution Day.
