GUWAHATI: The latest historical thriller 'The Kashmir Files' has become the most talk about the movie in Bollywood since its release on Friday 11 March.

The film helmed by Vivek Agnihotri has touched the heart of viewers with the concept and the presentation different from all other films in the same genre.

This time Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma and other Cabinet Ministers are all set to watch the film on the big screen in Guwahati on Tuesday 16 March.

According to reports, the ministers will be watching 'The Kashmir Files' in the cinema hall called PVR hall at the City Centre of Guwahati. The state CM along with others has booked the movie timing as 06:00 pm on Tuesday.

Theatres across the country have been witnessing a huge number of audiences watching the film based on the plight of Kashmiri Pandits during the Kashmir Insurgency in 1990.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also praised the film and the entire crew for bringing out the untold truth from history and for its depiction with excellent performances.

It may be mentioned that earlier the PPFA (Patriotic People's Front of Assam) urged the government of Assam to make the film 'The Kashmir Files' tax view for the viewers.

Notably, some of the Indian states including Gujarat, Haryana, Karnataka and Madhya Pradesh have made the film tax-free to watch.

The Kashmir Files helmed by Vivek Agnihotri is one of a kind with the depiction of the truth to the closest. It shows the suffering of the Kashmiri Hindus during the period of crisis and still living in the region like refugees.

Film director and writer Vivek Agnihotri played a major role with the idea of the film and in the screenplay and also in production. It is produced by Zee Studious in association with Abhishek Agarwal Arts and IAmBuddha.

The film casts Anupam Kher, Mithun Chakraborty, Darshan Kumar, Pallavi Joshi, Puneet Issar and Chinmay Mandlekar in the lead roles.

Anupam Kher in the role of Pushkar Nath, a Kashmiri pandit is the emotional core of the film who was forced to leave his home in Srinagar of Kashmir.

Apart from the positive reviews and its popularity among the masses, the film has already gained huge profit in the box office with Rupees 15.10 crore on the third day starting with Rupees 3.55 crore on opening day.
