Gas pipeline explosion near Bishnupur triggers panic in Bokakhat area

BOKAKHAT: A gas pipeline belonging to the Assam Gas Company, running from Golaghat to Bokakhat, exploded on Monday afternoon near Bishnupur, under the jurisdiction of Numaligarh police station, beside National Highway 39. The explosion created a terrifying situation, with gas spewing high into the air. The department acted promptly to stop the gas leakage.
