SHILLONG: Meghalaya on Friday recorded five new COVID-19 deaths, 485 new infections and 365 recoveries from the virus. Director of Health Services (MI) Dr Aman War informed that the five new fatalities were recorded in East Khasi Hills district, taking the total number of deaths in the State to 849. The State now has 4652 active cases and 45,074 have so far recovered from the virus.
