SHILLONG: Meghalaya on Friday recorded three more Covid-19 fatalities health authorities informed.

The state also recorded 184 new infections and 159 have recovered from the virus.

Health authorities informed that all three new deaths were not vaccinated.

Two of the deaths were recorded in East Khasi Hills district and one in Ri-Bhoi district.

With the latest figures the state now has 1389 total deaths, 1990 total active cases and 77051 have so far recovered from the virus.

Of the 184 new cases, East Khasi Hills district recorded 91, West Khasi Hills district 62, West Jaintia Hills district 19, Ri-Bhoi district six, East Jaintia Hills district and South West Khasi Hills district two each, South West Garo Hills district and West Garo Hills district one each.

The district wise break up of the active cases are - East Khasi Hills district 914,

West Khasi Hills district 456, West Jaintia Hills district 233, Ri-Bhoi district 228, South West Khasi Hills district 87,

West Garo Hills district 29, East Jaintia Hills district 22, East Garo Hills district, North Garo Hill district and South West Garo Hills district six each and South Garo Hills district three.
