Assam Rifles conducts bamboo plantation drive in Mizoram

AIZAWL: Aizawl Battalion of 23 Sector Assam Rifles, under the aegis of Headquarters Inspector General Assam Rifles (East), organized a bamboo plantation drive at Ngopa, Mimbung, Kawlbem, New Vaikhawtlang and Hnahlan and New KLP Zokhawsang on Friday.

This drive was aimed at encouraging bamboo plantation along the Indo-Myanmar Border to strengthen the ecological balance of the State, stated a release.
