GUWAHATI: North East Frontier Sports Association (NFRSA) earned full points in the Guwahati Premier League Football (GPL) defeating NorthEast United FC 1-0 at the Judges field on Friday. In the other game of the day FC Green Valley registered 2-1 victory over G Plus Athletic.

NFRSA today played their fourth game in the competition and they managed to win all of them which also helped them to retain the top spot in the points table of cluster B with 12 points.

NFRSA dominated the game from the very beginning and could have secured a much larger victory if not for two crucial goal-line saves by NEUFC defenders. Additionally, goalkeeper Arman Tamang delivered an impressive performance, making several key saves to prevent his team from conceding goals more than once.

After a goalless first half, NFRSA broke the deadlock in the 63rd minute with a decisive goal from Soibam Abinash. NEUFC made several attempts to equalize but fell short due to poor finishing.

Meanwhile, FC Green Valley notched their second victory in three outings, moving to the top of the points table with 7 points. G Plus took the lead in the 44th minute through Damangktdpang, but Prasenjit Chakraborty equalized for Green Valley in the 53rd minute. Aditya Saha then secured the win with a decisive goal in the 60th minute.
