4,151 Assam State Open School Candidates Pass Higher Secondary final Exams

As many as 4,151 of the 8,611 Assam State Open School (ASOS) candidates, who had appeared in the higher secondary level examinations, came out successful. The results were declared on December 5.

GUWAHATI: As many as 4,151 of the 8,611 Assam State Open School (ASOS) candidates, who had appeared in the higher secondary level examinations, came out successful. The results were declared on December 5.

The Assam State Open School (ASOS) is under the Assam State School Education Board (ASSEB). The examinations were held in April-May, 2024.

As many as 2612 of the 5,857 regular learners came out successful, registering a pass percentage of 44.59. The results of 18 candidates in this category have been shown incomplete.

As many as 1,539 of the 2,733 candidates belonging to the part admission learners came successful with a success rate of 56.31 percent. The results of 1,194 candidates in this category have been shown incomplete.

Thirteen of the candidates were expelled from the examination halls, and the results of eight candidates have been kept withheld.

The Assam State Open School has as many as 188 study centres across the state.
