GUWAHATI: Babul Ahmed, a 25-year-old fish seller, was arrested by Guwahati police on the charge of raping a minor girl (12) for a few months at Kusolnagar, Bamunimaidam in Guwahati.
The accused stayed for rent at the minor's place. He raped her while her mother was outside. Her mother lodged an FIR at Chandmari Police Station. After the FIR was lodged, he fled to Barpeta. The police arrested him at Barpeta Baghbar, Maharipam village.
