Guwahati: Ex-MP and AIUDF president Badruddin Ajmal expressed deep concern over the growing atrocities against Hindus in Bangladesh.

In a letter to the Prime Minister of India, Ajmal highlighted the alarming rise in violence and discrimination faced by the Hindu minority, including attacks on their homes and property. He emphasized that these incidents violate basic human rights and international law. He urged the Prime Minister to use India's influence to pressure the Bangladesh government to take decisive action.

The letter also stressed that India has a moral duty to ensure the safety and well-being of the Hindu minority in Bangladesh, given their historical and cultural ties. Ajmal requested the Prime Minister to consider this matter seriously and take necessary steps to address the situation, stated a press release.
