GUWAHATI: The Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM), Guwahati Mahanagar unit, staged a peaceful protest today against the alleged corruption of the Indian National Congress, focusing particularly on the Enforcement Directorate’s charge sheet against Rahul Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi in the National Herald case. The protest march commenced from PHE Field, Hengrabari, and culminated at the BJP district office. BJYM members held placards and raised slogans demanding accountability and transparency from Congress leadership.
Speaking on the occasion, BJYM state president Rakesh Das said, “This protest is a stand against the continuous irregularities and corruption perpetrated by the Congress party. For decades, one family has looted India, and the people of this country demand justice. The National Herald case is just one of many examples of how the Congress has misused power for personal gains.”
