Assam: BSF Guwahati Frontier organized Cleanliness Drive under 'Swachhta Hi Sewa' Theme

Guwahati: As part of the ongoing Swachhta Pakhwada (Dec 1 to 15), the Border Security Force (BSF) Guwahati Frontier, Patgaon, launched a massive cleanliness drive on 03 December 2024, under the theme 'Swachhta Hi Sewa.' The drive witnessed active participation from BSF officers, subordinate officers (SOs), and Seema Prahatis.

During said campaign, public places outside the BSF Campus, including Rani Gate Market, Azara Railway Station, and Railway Yard, were thoroughly cleaned. During the drive, officers, SOs, and Seema Praharis of Frontier Headquarter BSF Guwahati participated enthusiastically. The aim of the campaign was to raise awareness about cleanliness among BSF personnel, their families, and the local community.

Similarly, cleanliness campaigns were also organized in all the sector headquarters and battalions under BSF Guwahati Frontier and up to the Border Outpost (BOP) level located on the India-Bangladesh International Border, a press release stated.
