Boko: The people of the Chamaria area observed Sri Sri Bor Bishnu Ata's death anniversary at Chamaria Satra premises. Bor Bishnu Ata was one of the disciples of Mahapurush Sankaradeva and Madhavadeva.

Observed annually on the Shukla Dwitiya of Phagun, the festival holds profound significance as it commemorates the disappearance anniversary of Sri Sri Borbishnu Ata, the sutra's founder. The death anniversary is observed with various religious ceremonies, drama, Nam-Kirtana, and many other programmes. On the occasion of the death anniversary, people of the area celebrate Satra Mahotsav every year on the Satra premises. This year, the Mahotsav started on February 27, 2025, and concluded on March 2, 2025. On the last day of the Mahotsav, Ram Vijay Bhaona, a revered play composed by Mahapurush Srimanta Sankardeva, was presented as a street drama. People from various places in Assam visited historic Chamaria Satra and enjoyed the Satra Mahotsav, including the mesmerising street play.

Thus, it reflects the Chamariya Satra's role as a spiritual and cultural epicentre of the Neo-Vaishnavite tradition. It is worth mentioning here that the Ram Vijay Dramatisation is the scene of Lord Ram and Sita's wedding.
