Guwahati: The OBC Morcha of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Assam Pradesh, has appointed key district-level in-charges to strengthen grassroots organizational activities for the upcoming Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) elections in 2025.
According to an official order issued by the state BJP OBC Morcha, the district-level office bearers have been entrusted with special organizational responsibilities for effective preparation and mobilization for the BTC elections. The directive aims to intensify outreach and party activities across the designated districts falling under the BTC region.
The appointed coordinators and their responsibilities are as follows: Saurav Kumar Nath has been appointed in-charge of Kokrajhar, Tutu Sarkar for Chirang, Kuldeep Bora for Udalguri, Manoj Barua for Tamulpur, and Pran Kumar Nath for Baksa.
These leaders will act as special organizational observers for their respective districts, spearheading local coordination, campaign planning, and community engagement efforts.
Subhash Dutta took charge as the president of the state BJP OBC Morcha on Wednesday, at a ceremony held at the party headquarters. The order was issued by Dutta after assuming charge.
