GUWAHATI: Over 50 from other parties and organizations joined the AGP at its Dimoria office today. The newly joined members included former AASU (All Assam Students' Union) leaders, former Congress leaders, and leaders from the AAP (Aam Admi Party).

The AGP is on a drive to strengthen the party organizations in the run-up to the panchayat poll in 2025 and the Assembly election in 2026.

AGP general secretary Tapon Das welcomed the new party members at a function held on the occasion. He appealed to the new members to work for the party and the people of the state, staying well within the party's policy and ideology.
