GUWAHATI: SSA (Samagra Shiksha, Assam) Executive Director sent a letter to the ADCs (Education), District Mission Coordinators (SSA), and DEEOs (District Elementary Education Officers) of all districts to pass instructions to all schools/institutions to start the student progression in the UDISE+ (Unified District Information System for Education) 2025-26.

The SSA Executive Director also let the ADCs, district mission coordinators and DEEOs know that it had to pass this instruction as the Department of School Education & Literacy, Ministry of Education, Government of India, had directed to start the data entry of UDISE+ 2025-26. The student progression module has been activated now.

The SSA Executive Director further stated that all schools/institutions might be instructed to start the APAAR (Automated Permanent Academic Account Registry) generation for the students having valid Aadhaar IDs. In the case of students who do not have Aadhaar, special camps may be arranged, he said.

It is reported that during the pulling of drop box students of Shiksha Setu, some students enrolled in schools do not have UDISE+. “Therefore, all the districts are requested to issue notice to such schools to apply for UDISE code to the District Mission Office by May 31, 2025,” the SSA Executive Director said.
