Guwahati:
The Assam State Transport Corporation has announced a free bus service for
women and senior citizens of Guwahati under a Bhraman Sarathi Scheme.
The free city bus service would be available soon for women and senior citizens of Guwahati.
The ASTC buses to be used in this special service would
be pink in colour so that women and senior citizen can easily identify the
special free city bus service.
Ashok Bhattrai ,the Chairman of ASTC said," We are
starting a free city bus service for the women and senior citizens of Guwahati
soon and the buses are pink in colour so that people can identify the free city
buses easily."
