GUWAHATI: The BJP is pulling out all the stops in its Assam election campaign, deploying a string of its most prominent national leaders across the state in a concentrated blitz from April 2 to April 6.
From Union ministers to the Prime Minister himself, the party's top brass are set to cover multiple constituencies over the next five days.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah arrives in Assam today, April 2, to begin a two-day campaign run. His first stop is the Missa High School field, where he will address an election rally in support of AGP candidate Keshab Mahanta in the Kaliabor constituency.
BJP national spokesperson and MP Sambit Patra is also in Assam today, attending a rally in the Nalbari constituency.
April 3 shapes up as the busiest day of the campaign push, with four senior leaders in the field simultaneously.
Amit Shah will address multiple rallies across Golokganj, Dudhnoi, and Palashbari constituencies before departing for Delhi in the evening.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will make his Assam campaign debut the same day, with rallies lined up in Barpeta and Barchalla constituencies.
BJP national president Nitin Nabin arrives in Guwahati on April 3 as well. He is scheduled to address campaign meetings in Kamalpur and Mangaldoi, and will also hold an organisational meeting with party workers in the New Guwahati constituency.
Sambit Patra continues his campaign run on April 3, addressing election meetings in Diphu (ST), Haflong (ST), and Lumding constituencies.
BJP national president Nitin Nabin stays on in Assam for another day of campaigning on April 4, with rallies scheduled in the Ramkrishna Nagar (SC) and Lakhipur constituencies.
Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan heads to Upper Assam on April 5, with rallies planned in the Bokakhat and Naduar constituencies.
The campaign week ends on a high note. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to return to Assam on April 6 and address three public meetings across the state, according to the state BJP.
Former BJP national president J. P. Nadda will also visit on the same day, addressing two public meetings.
