GUWAHATI: Gripped by the fascination of the virtual world, a class IX student from Biswanath Chariali ran away from home to participate in an online game tournament in Delhi. According to sources, the boy had previously bought a Spicejet ticket to Delhi. At 5:30 am on Friday, on the pretext of going for tuition classes, he ran away from home. The flight’s departure was at 12:30 pm on Saturday from LGBI airport. The child had already arrived at the airport when Azara police managed to trace him and bring him back home.
