A mild intensity earthquake measuring 3.9 on the Richter scale shook Guwahati city on Saturday.
The quake struck at 9.06 pm at a depth of 10km on latitude 26.346 degree North and longitude of 91.22 degree East with its epicenter at Kamrup district of Assam, as per MET officials.
