GUWAHATI: A free medical camp was held on Saturday in Ambikagiri Nagar, Guwahati, at Shankar Sishu Kunja, under the banner of Rashtra Sevika Samiti (Vandaneeya Lakshmi Bai Kelkar Smarak Samiti). During the camp, approximately 250 patients were examined, and free medicines were distributed. Six renowned doctors participated in the camp to help organize it successfully and they were Dr. Bijuli Goswami (Eye Specialist), Dr. Balen Kalita (Deputy Superitendent, CMC Bebejia), Dr. Bijay Bhaskar Chakraborty (Medicine Emergency ICU, GMCH), Dr. Breean Zamal (Medical officer, NPC GMCH), Dr. Moon Moon Hazarika (ENT Specialist, SDM and HO), Dr. Pallabi Thakuria (Dental Surgeon), and Dr. Rajashree Goswami (Gynaecologist) GMCH. The camp was successfully organized with the teamwork and active participation of the doctors, school volunteers, and the Sevikas, stated a press release.
