GUWAHATI: In a shocking incident, 13 candidates were caught cheating in the Indian Army recruitment exam held at Army Public School Narengi Army Cantt. A team from Satgaon PS acted on intel and seized various electronic devices, including mobile phones, Bluetooth devices with SIM cards, suspected earpieces, and admit cards.
The accused candidates, aged between 18 and 24, hail from various districts in Haryana and Uttar Pradesh. They have been identified as Yudhveer (18) from Bhivani, Haryana; Mohan (20) from Kaithal, Haryana; Vishwash (18) from Hisar, Haryana; Tushar (19) from Rohtak, Haryana; Anil (22) from Hisar, Haryana; Rinku (21) from Kaithal, Haryana; Kuldeep (22) from Hisar, Haryana; Gurmeet (20) from Jind, Haryana; Harish (23) from Rohtak, Haryana; Sandeep Kumar (22) from Kaithal, Haryana; Billu (19) from Jind, Haryana; Pradeep Kumar (24) from Firozabad, UP; and Innu (21) from Jind, Haryana.
Following due procedures, the candidates were brought to the police station, and legal action has been initiated against them.
