GUWAHATI: Dispur College organized an orientation programme titled ‘Internship: Laying Foundations for Your Career’ in association with the Assam Electronics Development Corporation Ltd. (AMTRON) on April 30, 2025.The event conducted at the Pratima Barua Pandey Auditorium of the college was aimed at equipping students with the necessary guidance and resources to prepare them for internship opportunities that would be helpful in shaping their professional futures.
The programme began with the playing of the College Anthem, followed by the taking of the Chair by the Chairperson of the event, Dr Navajyoti Borah, Principal of the College, along with other dignitaries present on the occasion.
The event witnessed the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Internship and Apprenticeship Cell of the institution and AMTRON, Assam.
The chief guest of the event – Mr Ahiya Hussain, Additional Manager, AMTRON – shared valuable insights on the role of internships in career development and the initiatives AMTRON is undertaking to support young professionals.
