Guwahati Border Security Force seizes 3,400 Yaba tablets in South Salmara

GUWAHATI: Troops of Guwahati Frontier of Border Security Force seized 3,400 Yaba tablets, from Deepchar village in South Salmara on Friday. BSF troops of Border Out Post Deepchar, Ex-06 BN BSF seized the tablets, while the consignment was being thrown over the fence from India to Bangladesh at the border. The seized items have been handed over to Kharuabanda Police Station for further legal action. In a release, the BSF stated that, “Keeping in view the vulnerability of border, heightened activities of the smugglers and anti-national elements on the border, BSF troops are always alert towards the issues of trans-border crimes and illegal infiltration and are making all out efforts to prevent commission of such crimes.
