Guwahati: A traffic enforcement team from the Paltan Bazaar Police Station has taken stringent action against five vehicles for multiple violations, including illegal use of sirens, tinted glasses, improper documentation, additional antennas, blinking lights, and misuse of government vehicle stickers.
The vehicles prosecuted include a Toyota Innova (AS01 DM 5328), three Mahindra Scorpios (AS04 AG 1414, AS01 FV 8747, AS01 FF 0555), and a Porsche Cayenne (DL14 CG 1899). All offenders have been booked under the relevant provisions of the Motor Vehicles Act, police said.
