Guwahati: A team from Dispur Police Station, with assistance from Boko Police, solved a major theft case within 24 hours, arresting two accused, Anser Ali (40) of Jambari, Boko, and Mahidul Islam (27) of Tamuldi, Somoria.
The operation led to the recovery of over 500 bundles of branded electrical cables and wires (Finolex, Havells, KEI, Gold Medal, Niagra, Richa, Ollivin, Polycab, Lachit, Jai Shree), copper wires, speaker cables, halogen lights, and other accessories. Police also seized the truck (AS01SC 7817) used in the crime. Legal proceedings have been initiated.
