Guwahati: The Guwahati Chapter of "Innovative Hub," a laboratory for practical learning of physics, was inaugurated at South Point School, Guwahati, on Thursday. The initiative, launched by the Indian Association of Physics Teachers (IAPT), aims to make science experiments fun and easily comprehensible through innovative and simple gadgets. The laboratory is equipped with innovative and simple gadgets assembled from easily available objects of daily use. The setup was facilitated by Professor Yogesh Kumar Vijay, retired faculty of physics, Rajasthan University, and technical expert Kailash Chand Sarma.
The "Innovative Hub" will be open to teachers and students of neighbouring schools, providing a platform for enhancing meaningful learning experiences of fundamental physics concepts. Sanghamitra Roy, PGT, Physics, of the host school and member of IAPT, coordinated the entire process of setting up the laboratory, stated a press release.
