GUWAHATI: The Guwahati Municipal Corporation (GMC) continues its eviction drives against street vendors encroaching upon footpaths and roadside areas.
The Enforcement Branch of the GMC is carrying out the eviction drives in the interest of public service. The branch evicted the street vendors of Bhangagarh, Ulubari (BK Kakoty Road), Kalapahar (Colony Bazar) and Lachit Nagar areas from June 1-10.
