GUWAHATI: The Guwahati Police have apprehended three individuals involved in a vehicle theft case. The accused, identified as Acism Universe, Assam Meitei, and Thomonojam Sink, were caught after they kidnapped the driver of a Thar vehicle bearing registration number AS 01FQ 0969, which was taken on a self-drive basis from Bhetapara. The thieves had changed the number plate of the stolen vehicle, but the Dispur police were able to track them down and rescue the driver. The stolen vehicle was recovered, and a case has been registered at the Dispur Police Station under number 323/25.
