Guwahati: A vehicle overturned near the District Transport Office (DTO) in Betkuchi on Monday, leading to a brief disruption in traffic. Fortunately, no injuries or casualties were reported in the incident.
According to eyewitnesses, the vehicle flipped after the driver, who was alone at the time, lost control and crashed into a road divider. The impact caused the vehicle to overturn, drawing the attention of nearby commuters and passersby. A traffic official from Gorchuk Police Station confirmed the incident, stating, “The driver lost control of the vehicle, hit the divider, and overturned. No casualties were reported.” Authorities reached the spot promptly to manage the situation and ensure the smooth flow of traffic. The overturned vehicle was removed with the help of a crane. Police have launched an investigation to ascertain the exact cause of the accident.
