GUWAHATI/DIMORIA: During its stepped-up campaign against illegal felling of trees and transportation of timber from the Sonapur area, forest department personnel seized a Bolero pick-up vehicle (AS 01 EC 4209) laden with hewn logs at the Bandargog area on Tuesday night.
According to sources, while 20 logs were recovered from the vehicle, the driver managed to flee under the cover of darkness.
