GUWAHATI: The Kamrup Metro Excise Department destroyed 16 illicit liquor dens at Adingiri and Kalikhuwa near the Maligaon area on Tuesday.
During the operation, the team destroyed 600 litres of liquor, as many as 17,000 litres of fermented wash, among other ingredients. The workers of the den fled the spot.
