Minister Bimal Borah in London for Advantage Assam 2.0

After the road show of Advantage Assam 2. 0 in Dubai Minister- Industry, Commerce and Public Enterprise Assam Bimal Borah reached London on Thursday.

GUWAHATI: After the road show of Advantage Assam 2. 0 in Dubai Minister- Industry, Commerce and Public Enterprise Assam Bimal Borah reached London on Thursday. On arrival in London as a precursor to the Advantage Assam 2.0 Summit he Borah met British Minister for Indo-Pacific, Catherine West at her office last night.

In the meeting, Minister Borah emphasized the numerous initiatives undertaken by the Government of India, led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and  Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma  to create a Viksit Asom that thrives as an economic powerhouse, fostering growth, innovation, and opportunities for global partnerships.

It was indeed a very interactive session where Borah highlighted the shared heritage between India and England, explored avenues to strengthen economic and cultural ties, with a particular focus on Assam's potential as a trade and investment destination.

Today Industry Minister Borah took part in an Investors' meet in Hotel St. James Court 54 Buckingham Gate. He invited British investors to the Advantage Assam 2.0 to be held in Guwahati in February next. Before the meet, Borah visited Gandhi statue at Parliament Square Garden, a press release said.
