GUWAHATI: Panbazar Police arrested a woman named Rashida Khatun (26) of Baghbar from Railway Gate No. 3 in Guwahati. The police seized 20 vials of heroin weighing 26.57 gm from her. A team of police from Bhagaduttapur OP of Dispur PS nabbed 2 drug peddlers — Bikash Kalita of Vivekananda Path and Longbi Tokbi of Jirikinding from Ganesh Mandir turning — and seized eight vials of heroin weighing 10.96 gm, an empty vial, a bike (AS01EY4966), etc. Dispur police arrested one Buddhiman Das (20) of Beharbari after he was caught with eight vials of heroin, weighing 11 gm. A syringe was also seized from his possession.
