Prasanta Kumar Bhuyan appointed as new spokesperson of Assam police

Prasanta Kumar Bhuyan, Inspector General of Police (L&O), has been appointed as the official spokesperson of Assam Police.

GUWAHATI: Prasanta Kumar Bhuyan, Inspector General of Police (L&O), has been appointed as the official spokesperson of Assam Police. It came after the appointment of GP Singh as new DGP, who took charge from January 31, following the retirement of Bhaskar Jyoti Mahanta.
