GUWAHATI: Goods worth around Rs 20 lakh that had been looted from a godown – Elite Venture – at Beltola in Guwahati of January 25 night were recovered from Khutikatia in Nagaon on Saturday.
Elite Venture is a distributor of Hindustan Unilever Ltd. Acting on a case (169/2021), Basistha Police conducted raids at Khutikatia in Nagaon on Saturday. The police recovered the goods along with the truck (AS01MC6313) that was used to carry them. Three persons – Bishnu Bora (driver of the truck), Mirzu Sheikh and Imran Hussain – were arrested in that connection. As many as 116 cartons of cosmetics were recovered.
