SBI signs MoU with Gauhati High Court

GUWAHATI: A memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed on February 2 between SBI and the Gauhati High Court for integration of e-Pay (https://pay.ecourts.gov.in i.e online payment web portal of the Judiciary) and SBIePay (Payment Gateway of SBI). The public from the four States of Assam, Mizoram, Nagaland and Arunachal Pradesh will soon be able to make payments of court fees, fines, penalties and judicial deposits, through the digital mode.

The MoU was signed by Robin Phukan, Registrar General, for and on behalf of the Gauhati High Court and Ajay Kumar Singh, General Manager (NW)-1 for and on behalf of the State Bank of India in the presence of a host of officers of the Gauhati High Court and SBI. The eCourts Division of the Gauhati High Court is playing a proactive role in implementing various electronic services for the district courts, so that the public can access various court case related information online, a release stated.
