Deepika Padukone has been on a maternity break over the past few months. The actress delivered baby girl in September 2024 and since then, her world revolves around the little one. The actress has now started making public appearances and attending events. Her fans are waiting for her to make a comeback to films. As per the latest updates, Deepika Padukone is going to share the screen space again with Prabhas. She is reportedly a part of his upcoming movie “Spirit”. Not only that, she is even getting a hefty pay cheque.
As reported by the entertainment news section of India Today Digital, Deepika Padukone is getting paid around Rs 20 crore for Prabhas’ “Spirit”. The diva is getting the biggest pay cheque of her career with this film, as revealed by an insider to the portal. However, there is no confirmation as yet. The hefty remuneration though has made major headlines as the number is said to be much higher than what many of the leading actresses have quoted in recent times. It is also said to be higher than what Ranveer Singh got paid for his recent films.
Deepika Padukone was last seen in “Singham Again”. The movie released in November 2024 and she played the female cop - Shakti Shetty in Rohit Shetty’s action entertainer. The actress did not attend the promotions due to her pregnancy. Prior to Singham Again, Deepika Padukone was seen in Prabhas and Amitabh Bachchan’s Kalki 2898 AD. (Agencies)
