New Delhi: Congress leader Udit Raj on Sunday made shocking revelations, claiming that the entire Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), except a few councillors, would defect to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) if the latter was willing to induct them. He asserted that the Arvind Kejriwal-led AAP had no “ideological” inclinations.

He further alleged that AAP used to engage in “selling” tickets for councillor and MLA seats.

“According to my sources, except for a few (AAP) councillors, the remaining majority will join the BJP if it accepts them. This was not an ideological party. It was a barter system. They used to sell tickets for councillors and MLAs. That’s how most people became councillors in their party,” Raj, who is a former Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP, told ANI.

He accused the AAP of “looting money” while they remained in power in Delhi and spending it during elections in Gujarat, Punjab, and Goa.

“They used to loot money from here and throw it in Gujarat, Punjab, and Goa. They used to give concessions on electricity and water using the government tax,” Raj added. His remarks came after several councillors affiliated with AAP resigned from party membership and formed a new party called the Indraprastha Vikas Party. (ANI)
