ITANAGAR: Arunachal Pradesh Minister of Women and Child Development Dasanglu Pul, declared that hostels for working women would be built in each of the state's 28 districts.

Pul encouraged Arunachal Pradesh tribal women who marry non-APST people from other states to take their husbands' last names for social reasons.

She further underlined that in order to stop kids from abusing their Scheduled Tribe status, the government is attempting to solve concerns pertaining to offspring and enact new legislation.

"You can love and marry anyone from any state or country, but using your own surname instead of your husband's is a sign of disrespect toward your spouse and, in legal terms, is a violation," Pul added.

According to her, the goal of the working women's hostel program is to house working women in urban, semi-urban and even rural regions where there are job prospects for women, together with creche services for their kids, wherever feasible.

"Funds provided under BE 2024 will be used to construct CDPO quarters in every district of Arunachal," Pul asserted.
