Arunachal: IMC Mayor Tamme Phassang Highlights State's Culture and Potential at International Trade Fair

Phassang interacted with Trade and Commerce officials and praised their efforts to promote the state in an international platform and emphasized the importance of such initiatives.

ITANAGAR: IMC Mayor Tamme Phassang visited Arunachal Pradesh stall while attending the International Trade Fair in Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. The aim of the exhibition was to highlight the state's vibrant cultural heritage and immense potential.

The stalls, complied with vivid displays, showcase the rich traditions, crafts, and opportunities the state has to offer.

Phassang interacted with Trade and Commerce officials and praised their efforts to promote the state in an international platform and emphasize the importance of such initiatives to encourage cultural exchange and stimulate economic growth. 

Phasang stated,“This stall is a reflection of the state's rich heritage and the spirit of our people. It’s heartening to see our culture being presented so vibrantly, inspiring both locals and global visitors. It is not only a visual treat but also serves as a hub for fostering business opportunities. Officials at the stall aim to connect with traders, entrepreneurs and visitors, encouraging investments and collaborations that can benefit the state.” 

The trade fair was inaugurated by Union Minister Kiren Rijiju, in the presence of Arunachal Pradesh Minister for Trade and Commerce Nyato Dukam on November 14.

Arunachal Pradesh has set up its state pavilion for the first time in the national-level trade fair and exhibition. The Arunachal Pradesh State Pavilion hosted  twenty entrepreneurs from different parts of the state.

Commissioner of Trade & Commerce Saugat Biswas emphasized that participating in the India International Trade Fair will provide entrepreneurs with national-level exposure and an opportunity to find business from wholesale and retail buyers.
