ITANAGAR: Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu attended the inauguration of the 59th Longding Pumao BJP Mandal Office in Longding.
The event was graced by several dignitaries, including Deputy Chief Minister Shri Chowna Mein, Member of Parliament Shri Tapir Gao, Ministers Shri Gabriel Wangsu and Smt. Dasanglu Pul, and BJP Longding District President Shri Chemnga Wangpan.
The newly inaugurated office is expected to serve as a central hub for strengthening party activities and ensuring better coordination for grassroots development in the region.
CM Pema Khandu emphasized the importance of working with a committed team and unwavering dedication to achieve progress in Longding and Arunachal Pradesh as a whole. The office will play a crucial role in the development of the state.
Meanwhile, Arunachal Pradesh CM Pema Khandu reaffirmed his commitment to women’s empowerment and cultural preservation during a five-day tour of Anjaw, Longding, and Kurung Kumey districts.
The tour focused on community engagement, grassroots leadership, and addressing local concerns. CM Khandu emphasized the crucial role of women in nation-building and pledged to strengthen community participation and inclusivity.
He met with the BJP Mahila Morcha team in Lower Dibang Valley, highlighting women’s leadership in politics and society.
During his visit, CM Khandu also engaged with community delegates from Anjaw district, recognizing the Meyor community for their resilience in preserving their heritage.
He assured government support for their needs. Additionally, he met with representatives of the Mishmi Welfare Society and All Mishmi Students’ Union, discussing key issues affecting the community.
