ITANAGAR: The Arunachal Pradesh government has taken strict action against Gomo Sora, a former Finance & Accounts Officer (FAO) in the office of the Deputy Commissioner, Yupia. He has been dismissed from government service for his involvement in the APPSC paper leak scandal.
An inquiry conducted by the government found that Sora had breached multiple provisions of the Central Civil Service (Conduct) Rules, 1964. The inquiry report revealed that his actions had severely compromised the integrity of the public recruitment process.
According to the order issued by the state government, it stated that the government’s decision to dismiss Sora sends a strong message that such misconduct will not be tolerated. It reflects the state’s commitment to upholding the principles of transparency, accountability, and fair play in public service.
The departmental inquiry revealed that Sora breached the provisions of Rule 3 of the CCS (Conduct) Rules, 1964.
“It was highly unbecoming of a public servant, and such a person should not be allowed to continue in the job under the State Government,” the order stated.
